Description

Join Motion Media and Shotgun specialists from Autodesk as we give you an in depth look at the Shotgun Toolkit.

What is the Shotgun Pipeline Toolkit and how can it help me?

Shotgun Pipeline Toolkit is a suite of tools that makes it easy to set up, customize and evolve your pipeline. The Shotgun Toolkit integrates with applications such as Maya, Photoshop and Nuke and makes it easy to quickly access Shotgun data inside those environments. It also makes it easy to safely build and evolve your own tools and technology.

What will we cover?

  • What is Shotgun? What is the Shotgun Toolkit?
  • Shotgun Toolkit Installation
  • Who is Toolkit right for? Who isn’t Toolkit right for?
  • How to use the Shotgun API for automation and scripting
  • How to use the Event Handler
  • How to install Toolkit and do basic configurations
  • Overview of the Flame integration

It is highly recommended that you bring a laptop to follow along with. This is an in depth class aimed at teaching you how to use Toolkit and it's much easier if you have your own machine. You'll also need to get a trial account of Shotgun prior to class in order to participate.

Why are you charging for this?

Seating is extremely limited at this event. We are charging to reserve your seat. If you show up and attend, your money will be refunded. The only way you'll actually be charged is if you don't show up. A lot of time and effort is going in to this event so we want to make sure that people who really want to attend will have a spot.
